Barren River lake State Resort Park's 4th Annual Geocaching Weekend provides a great opportunity for cachers of all levels to have a fun weekend caching and meeting other cachers. We will be adding new things to the weekend to make it even more interactive for the participants. With a new trail opening up, there are even greater opportunities for the haunted night caching event. Event registration fee includes a chili dinner.
Barren River Lake State Resort Park's 4th annual geocaching weekend is day and a half of geocaching fun. There will be special event caches hidden throughout the park. There will be caches suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced - join the fun to either learn about this great family activity or to meet up with old acquaintenances. This year, in addition to the haunted night cache activity, we will be incorporating a little "mystery" into the caching fun so put on those detective hats and see if you have the skills, based on the clues provided, to solve our "mystery". Registration forms available September 15th at www.parks.ky.gov under Barren River events. Registration fee includes chili dinner on Saturday night.
