Drammen stasjon ble åpnet 15. november 1866. Hovedbygget er tegnet
av arkitekt Georg Andreas Bull. Han har også vært med å tegne
Vestbanestasjonen og Østbanehallen i Oslo.

Drammensbanen fra Oslo deles i to linjer i Drammen: Vestfoldbanen
(til Skien) og Sørlandsbanen. Sistnevnte bane går over
Hokksund/Kongsberg. Også tog på Bergensbanen går nå over Drammen
(via Hønefoss).
Drammen station was opened November 15th, 1866. Here, two major
lines separate: Vestfoldbanen (to Skien) and Sørlandsbanen (to
Kristiansand and Stavanger). Also trains to Bergen now pass Drammen
station.
