When my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor, she was given a window of 9-14 months. Today, while she's in the building close by receiving her milestone 50th chemo treatment, I snuck away to this spot for a short prayer of thanks for the "extra time" we've been blessed with. It's become my ritual. And it was only a matter of time before I placed a cache here. It's been 32 months since that original diagnosis. She's still with us. My family always knew she was a tough cookie, and now her doctors know as well. While you're here, take a moment to quietly reflect on all that's important to you. Enjoy.
