Geocache Description:

There is an unmowed grassy area to walk through to reach the cache. A short walk from parking area. Permit #JB 1.

The cache container is a lock and lock. Once you enter the site it is not necessary to cross a stone wall ro find the cache. The cache is not hidden in the stone wall. It should be a pretty easy find. In keeping in character with the site, the theme of the cache are things of the natural world. That was the theme of John Burrough's writing. There are some animal stickers, plastic snakes and other animals. There is a certificate for the FTF. While here visit the John Burrough's gravesite and the boyhood rock. Look at the views where Burrough's drew inspiration for some of his writing.

This cache is part of the Friends of Minekill State Park Challenge. The first seven to log the 12 caches at three local parks will receive a travel bug trackable tag. Log sheets and instructions are available at the Minekill State Park Office.

FTF goes to Davahn and smugpaul
