Located in beautiful Salt Point State Park a short distance from the Visitors Center at Gerstle Cove.
Cache is overlooking Gerstle Cove where in the 1800s there were wooden slides erected to load the boats that came to ship sandstone and lumber to San Francisco (see "Related Web Page" link above).
The cache is above Gerstle Cove Marine Reserve, so you can look right down into the crystal clear water. Go down to the shore and explore the tide pools, just don't disturb any marine life.
Cache is a cammoed plastic container. Please return as found or better using the natural cammo.
