Our first cache hide ever. Placed along the Northville-Lake Placid Trail at a scenic and historic location.
Parking for this cache: Turn WEST off NY30 in the town of Wells, onto Algonquin Drive near the dam at the end of Lake Algonquin, which immediately crosses a bridge over the Sacandaga River. Turn left at 0.7 miles onto West River Road. Follow this road for 8.3 miles (stay left at the fork) to Whitehouse and the Northville Lake Placid Trailhead parking area.
Small 'Lock-n-Lock' is well stocked with small tradeable items.
