in our disclaimer.
Fletcher Peak is the 6th highest peak in Southern Nevada, standing
at 10,319 feet.
Fletcher actually has 2 peaks, which are not very far apart. The
cache is located just east of the southern (less visited) peak. The
cache is a cookie tin located under a tree root, behind a few
rocks. Hopefully, it will stay hidden from muggles under
there.
When I hid the cache, it was hailing, and there are a lot of trees
about, so the coords may be a bit off. If you get better
coordinates while up there, let me know & I'll update the page.
**The cache has been found and the coords seem to be good!**
Make sure to also sign the summit log located in an ammo box on the
northern peak!
-- Please be aware of the symptoms of altitude sickness & what
to do if it happens to you.
-- DO NOT attempt this hike if there are dark clouds in the sky.
Thunderstorms can strike very quickly during the summer monsoon
season in the Charleston area, even if it's clear in the Vegas
Valley.
Congrats to PhantomWSO for FTF!!!
