This is not a micro! The cache is hidden along NF-6s13. A 4x4 would be required during the winter. But, any high clearance SUV, or truck, should not have any problem getting here at any other time. Leave the Honda Accords at home.
I've seen mountain bikers on this trail before. So, if you want the workout, ride a mountain bike to the cache.
This is a Beautiful dirt road to Thomas Mountain. You can not beat the views from this road. The start of the trail is next to Lake Hemet and climbs all the way to the top which is about 6,500 ft. The cache is hidden towards the bottom of the road. So, you don't have to go all the way to the top. If you decide to go to the top, you will see Garner Valley, Lake Hemet, and Anza Valley from the road. You will not believe how incredible the views are!!! I highly recommend that you go all the way to the top of Thomas Mountain.

As always, be mindful of the critters that live here. You are in the wilderness. There are deer, coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, and of course a lot of slithering things up here.

I stopped by to change the container. You are now looking for an ammo can. The previous container was still intact, but upgrades are always nice. There were no TB's in there today. I was traveling with a stash of Travel Bugs that are on their way to Europe.
