Interesting area that even many of the locals aren't aware of. It's easy to drive right past without even realizing what's back here. We've listed the terrain as a 2, but depending on the time of year, it could range anywhere from a 1.5 to 3.5. Bring your own pencil and probably some tweezers, too.
While we were given permission to place this cache, we were told that people do NOT have permission to go near the outbuildings. Also, because the cache is placed on Illinois Department of Natural Resources land, please note the following:
1. Geocache is placed on Department managed property with permission.
2. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: food items; inappropriate, offensive, or hazardous materials.
3. It is the visitors' responsibility to orient themselves with policies and rules pertaining to this Department managed site.
