Story of Sammamish River - a new art installation in Woodinville. Purchased by the city of Woodinville for $15,000. We thought we'd celebrate by planting a cache nearby to give folks some extra incentive to stop and enjoy it.
Note that there is just enough room for the small log, so you'll need to bring your own pen.
Be careful about parking, as there aren't any obvious spots nearby. You could try the nearby Shurgard storage, but I haven't cleared that with the owner/manager. There is a street a bit further west that could probably be parked on and then hike back up the hill, or maybe way down the hill to the south at the park and ride. Or, a street to the east for a small housing project. In any case, it could be a bit of a hike, so I've upped the terrain rating a bit.
