Watershed - is a small geocache, that is part of the Watershed series. It lies near to the path that runs from Rossendale to the Naden Valley. Here you are near enough on top of the watershed. The views are wide, and there is also evidence of the industrial past
Cowpe Moss, Hailstorm Hill and Tottington High End Moor all form a part of this watershed, and water runs of it into the Rossendale Valley, Dearden Brook and the Naden Valley. Ultimately the water eventually ends up in the Irwell, though by a variety of routes.
Hailstorm Hill is also a Marilyn, so if you are a bagger as well as a cacher - you could grab it whilst you are up here.
The cache is located on open moorland - which is exposed - so please go prepared, as the weather can change quickly here.
