Ruinas Batey Columbia

El Batey Columbia es uno de los lugares más históricos remanentes dentro de los alrededores de la población de Maunabo. Fue fundado en el 1900-01 como empresa conjunto de los tres mayores terratenientes del valle de Maunabo. Tuvo su propio ferrocarril de vía estrecha para cargar las cañas. La mampostería del almacén ubicado junto a la carretera es de un grado de destreza técnica muy particular y poco visto.

En Maunabo toma la carretera #3 y deja que tu GPS te guie. Las ruinas quedan al lado de la carretera. CUIDADO CUANDO ESCONDAS EL CACHE Y ASEGURATE ESCONDERLO EN EL MISMO SITIO. BYOP

Batey Columbia One of the most historic places in Maunabo. It was founded in 1900 or 1901 by three biggest landowners in Maunabo as a sugar cane plantation. It had it's own train to carry the sugar cane. The masonry in the warehouse next to the road is special because of the skill required and is rarely seen.

In Maunabo take road #3 and let your GPS guide you. The ruins are at the side of the road. BE CAREFUL WHEN RETREATING THE CACHE AND MAKE SURE YOU HIDE IT EXACTLY IN THE SAME PLACE. BYOP
