How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a challenge cache to see how well-rounded you are as a cacher.
The cache is at the posted coords. Feel free to find the cache and sign the physical log, but you cannot log an official "Found it" online until you have met the requirements of the challenge.

This cache is NOT available from the freeway or the offramp.

To complete this challenge, you must have one or more finds on each of the ten nine* common types of currently loggable caches.

*(Mega Events can count toward the regular Event requirement, but are not required. Whereigo caches require a higher-level GPS than most cachers have, so they are not required, but up to two of this type can count toward the Webcam requirement. Project APE caches are almost all gone and are therefore not included. Bonus points if you do have them.)

The easy ones:
Traditional, Multi, Unknown, and Benchmark.
(Yes, I know benchmarks aren't technically caches, but I'm including them nonetheless.)

The harder ones:
Letterbox, Virtual, Earthcache, Event.

The really tough ones:
Webcam/Whereigo and CITO.

In your "Found it" log, please provide evidence of your meeting the challenge requirement. This may be done by listing the qualifying finds, posting a screenshot of your profile or stats, attaching a Bookmark List, or another way that definitively shows your accomplishment. "Found it" logs without adequate backup will be deleted.

So that there is no confusion, you must find the following:
1 - Traditional
1 - Multi
1 - Unknown
1 - Benchmark
1 - Letterbox
1 - Virtual
1 - Earthcache
1 - Event
1 - CITO
1 - Webcam/Whereigo (One of the other)

The difficulty of this cache is based on the relative difficulty to accomplish this challenge for a Wasatch Front-based cacher. Some types of caches may be more or less common where you live.

*** Note - Effective 1/1/2023 Geocaching.com will officially no longer support benchmarks. Thus, the benchmarking requirement has been removed from this challenge. All other requirements remain in force.
