This cache is located on the Borderlands, between earth and sea, beach and rocks, ground and sky. It requires beach footwear, so be prepared :)
My wife and kids found this park during the record breaking heatwave that hit Seattle in July 2009. Not only did they have fun playing in the small stream, damming it up, and swimming in the water, but they recognized that this spot had beautiful views and needed another cache.
Since then this cache has been muggled three times, so instead of planting another smaller cache we are doing a micro for now. Will likely come up with a better camoflaged small or regular soon. You are looking for a bison tube, just kind of hanging around. You shouldnt have to remove the bison completely, just unscrew and then rescrew later. Bring a pen. :-)
The park is open from 7 a.m. to sundown, and they lock the gates in the evening, so make sure you return to your car by then. Please replace the cache carefully to avoid muggling. Obviously it should go without saying, but you do not have to go anywhere on the railroad side of the fence for this cache.
