Geocache Description:

I have been enlisted by kcchiefs1 and WONKMAN to help with the Ly. Cty. Cemetery series. I have had so much fun getting these hidden, thank you for getting me involved.

When I entered the Maydale Cemetery I noticed several names that I knew were big Catholic Families in Olpe. My mind started wondering if there was a good story as to why they were here and not in the Catholic cemetery closer to town. Upon a little bit more reading I found that this area is also know as the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Not as juice of story as I would have liked but it does explain the sculpture in the middle.

The cache you look for is a log only PVC tube hidden in the south tree on the trunk.
