Geocache Description:

One of a short series of woodland walks. This one is subtitled "Bass Rock View".

Brownrigg Wood is at the northern end of the Tyninghame Estate, part of the area planted originally by the 6th Earl of Haddington. The wood is now predominantly planted for commercial timber.

The cache will take you to a point in a firebreak where there is a fine view out to the Bass Rock. You do not need to bushwhack to get there. Use the main track through the wood and turn north at a junction where telephone cables run through the trees. A little way along there is a small trail through the woodland to the cache site. Waypoints are given below. The place where the cache is hidden is also home to a small toad. Be kind to it.

Parking, as for all the caches in this area is at the end of Limetree Walk.
