The Ridge Series of caches is a series of 4 caches that will introduce you to an area that has no previous caches placed there. The caches are: 1) Start Or End??? #1,
2) Wild Animals (we are glad don't live around here!),
3) Ice Age,
4) Start Or End??? #2.
This hike works its way up to a narrow ridge that offers some unique views. To the south you see the green of Simi Valley and the southern ridge line. To the north you see views that look the same as they did 100 years ago. The route is almost but not quite a loop. Therefore the cache names Start or End??? #1 and #2. Either one can be the start or the end depending on which way you decide to go. Both of them are placed so as to help find the appropriate trail to travel for this series of caches.
Start Or End??? #1 and #2 are small log only caches (small bottles). Therefore I have tried to hide them in extremely obvious places. Wild Animals and Ice Age are larger caches with tradable items.
After finding this cache take a few moments to walk to the top of the hill for a great view.
