Geocache Description:

The Cache is near the top of Tahoe Mountain, the hike is about 1 mile (20-25 minutes depending on your pace) from the fire road that starts at Gardner St. and Panther Ln. The hike is a steady climb to the top!

This is a wonderful hike with great views of Lake Tahoe along the way, definitely worth checking out, the contents are very cool, if you take something please put something back. At the Cache location there are great views of Mt. Tallac and Fallen Leaf Lake. It is also a great resting spot!

***If you are from out of town or unfamiliar with the hike, start at the fire road on Gardner St and Panther Ln. hike straight up the paved road and continue straight up to the dirt trail do not take the trail to the right or left continue in the same direction up that you started.
