Geocache Description:

**Starting 1/1/10 a day pass into the park is $5**

The Eagle Island State Park (EISP) was the first loop MKapp and I completed as a "serious" cachers. We were a little disappointed when the series was disabled but it gave us the chance to give back to our fellow cachers.

We've started hiding caches along the equestrian trails and the frisbee golf course. Be on the lookout for cow pies & muddy conditions. You might want to wear old shoes or boots at certain times of the year. You will most likely get up close and personal with real, live cows. The fee for parking inside the park is $4 unless you have a State Park pass. The park is open from 7 am until sunset. A few caches require bringing your own pen/pencil. Permission is obtained for caching in the park as long as we tread lightly.

This is just one of many we plan to hide in the area so be on the look out for new ones.
