How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Cache is found in a wooded area that you don't expect to be there. The container is a small camouflaged lock and lock.

I've driven by this area many times and finally decided to investigate. The woodlot is located behind a local school. There is no maintenance of this woodlot which means the paths are minimal to non-existant.

The cache is small but will hold coins or small travel bugs. When placed it contained a Blackberry case and a silicone iPod cover.

This is a very traditional cache that would make a good introduction to geocaching.

If you want to add some fun try walking along a nearby fallen try. It's fun and it's the easiest way to get to the cache.

This is near a residential area so you can expect to see muggles from time-to-time. The only access to the woodlot is via the school playground. The searching is out of sight of the school but you will be seen entering the forest if the school is occupied.
