Geocache Description:


Jacob Lustic ran Camp Roscoe till the timber was cut. Then Camp got moved to Hanley. The train passed daily but never stopped. Mail was thrown off and at the end of the day on the return trip a rail car was left open to throw outgoing mail on.1909 Hanley was threatened by a forest fire. The men stayed to fight it the women had to take the kids and head to Wetmore which is a 4 mile hike. In 3 hours 15 to 20 sq. miles of timber burned including 25000 cords of cordwood.
