Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park will offer its fifth Geocaching Weekend on October 2-4, 2009. The weekend will offer a variety of caches (traditional, micro, puzzle etc.) to find on over 15,000 acres of state forest and state park property. We guarantee at least 30 caches to be hidden especially for the weekend. The caches will vary in difficulty and terrain.
There will be a night cache, find the most caches contest, first-to-find cache, and traditional caches. We guarantee at least 30 caches to find. The fees are as follows: $15 per geocacher, $10 if you register by September 26, 2009, or $20 per family. Event participants are eligible for a 10% discount on lodging.
