BookCrossing cache containing books for exchange near another great
Ada County source for books!
This cache is a book-only exchange site that is part of the
international BookCrossing network. The container is a
water-tight green metal box that will accept books up to 11" tall
and 7" across. Travel bugs and other trackables also
welcome.
I placed ten "starter" books in the cache, and ask that if you
choose to take a book, that you swap out book-for-book to keep the
cache active and fresh.
Each book originally included in this cache has been registered on
www.bookcrossing.com and assigned a unique ID number you'll find on
the front cover.
Below is information about how to register books you leave and
books you take. You can also just leave a book and I'll register it
for you!
If you take a book, please go to the BookCrossing web site
to record your "find" so other BookCrossers can watch online while
the book "travels" - just like a geocaching travel bug!
If you leave a book, you may register it before you head out
to find this cache...
-or-
use one of the pre-numbered BrookCrossing ID stickers I've left in
the cache container. Just take a sticker off the sheet and put it
on the front cover when you leave the book in the cache. Include
the book title and the last 3 digits of the ID number of the
sticker you used when you log your cache find on
www.geocaching.com, and I'll register it for you on the
bookcrossing web site. I don't want anything to discourage you from
sharing books through this cache... so don't feel guilty if you
leave a book without registering it first... it's easy for me to
do.
Regardless if you register the books or not, pls record the titles
of books you take in the cache's log book so other cachers know
what happened to a book they were hoping to find there after you
snatched it up ahead of them :-)
GeoCaching and BookCrossing are such natural partners for a
hobby... I hope you enjoy finding this cache as much as I have
placing it.
Thanks to Director Mary and Assistant Director Terri for approving
this location!
