Geocache Description:

National Public Lands Day is September 20th, 2009.

Time: starts at 9:30 am
Place: Bass River Ranger Station

It is time for our annual CITO at Bass River State Forest. As I went into the Bass River to make arrangements I found out that National Public Lands Day was within the time period that I was looking at. What a better way to give back to nature!!!

****I am looking into camping too, so if anyone is interested in getting a group campsite, please post in your "will attend" log that you would like to stay over and if there is enough interest, we will talk to the park about a campsite.

Now some Bass River information:

Bass River is an awesome area for camping, swimming, hiking, four wheeling and best of all GEOCACHING!!!!
The park officials and volunteers have embraced the sport of geocaching. There is even a geocache outside of the ranger station! Look for it and you may have a park official come out and ask you, "Did you find it?" We have held geocaching "classes" there to teach both the park officials and muggles about the sport we love.

All the more reason for us to pitch in and help clean!!!

Please RSVP as soon as possible as I would like to have a count to give the park office....
