Fernhurst is a small village in the north-west of Sussex. This is the fourth, bonus, cache in a series which forms the rural loop of the figure-of-eight.
Parking is available by the recreation ground at N51 02.944 W000 43.010 (co-ordinates given above are for the car park NOT the cache). If you are bringing a dog, please note that they may only be walked around the edge of the rec. Fernhurst village has both cricket and football teams and the field is often using for launching hot air balloons.
This last part of the loop can be quite muddy during wet weather.
To find the bonus cache, take the numbers from the three other caches in the loop and go to N51 02.ABC W000 42.DEF
The cache is a lock-top plastic box in a camo bag. When placed it contained log book and pencil, various swaps, my Mapamundi GC and an FTF prize of a keyring and cache wallet.
