This is a multi cache setup. At the final co-ordinates, there is an
ammo box with "loads of trades" for the kids. A FTF certificate to
the first person who emails us first! It is located on private
property. Permission is granted but please park on the road and
walk in and stay in the yard area!
The surrounding area is full of farms that raise animals and crops.
The farms were setup by pioneers who toiled long and hard to make
these farms productive enough to support their families and the
surrounding communities of Fraserwood and Gimli. Many of these
settlers no longer farm but as you drive you will see the the
legacy of hard work that remains with the current generation to
benefit from. For more details on the local history of the area's
development, read books like "Spruce, Swamp, and Stone: A History
of the Pioneer Ukrainian Settlements in the Gimli Area" by Michael
Ewanchuk. ISBNO-9690768-3-5. When at the cache site, stop have a
look around. Listen to the wind blowing across the fields and for
tractors working in the distance! It is located on private
property. Permission is granted but please park on the road and
walk in and stay in the yard area!
