This cache is highlighting an Eagle scout project that was done a number of years ago. I had someone tell me these were placed as a project a few decades ago. sometime in the 1990's
These were placing going up the canyon to highlight the plant life that exists. There are 4-6 more as you hike up the canyon.
This cache is intended to be part of the "Cache To Eagle" series for the Hobble Creek District and can be used to fulfill Requirement #8 of the Geocaching Merit Badge. "Cache To Eagle" geocaches spotlight Eagle Scout projects and show how these projects have benefited their communities.
