Geocache Description:

between the top of Arbel Cliffs and Arbel village

This is cache #7 planted by the Shulems on their 29 day, 450 Km, trek starting in Tel Dan and ending at the Kotel. Each day, we hid 1 cache for the benefit of future Israel Trail hikers. Naturally, some of the caches are accessible by non 'Israel Trailers' while others are 4 hours of waking from the nearest road.

This cache is located on top of a hill between the top of Arbel Cliffs and Arbel village. The path from the Arbel lookout and Arbel rolls around a fenced-off reservoir. It is a 20 minute walk from either side.

Warning: There is no easy way to climb up the hill. In the summer you can expect the climb up to be covered with thorns. In the winter it will be muddy. The top however is covered with rocks so once you make your way up, things get easier.

The hill itself is impressive in that it stands alone in a totally flat field. From the top of the hill there is a beautiful 360 degree view of the Kineret, Tveria, The Galili, and on good days, the Hermon. I highly recommend sitting on top and meditating for a while. This is one of my favorite caches. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The cache is in a plastic container wrapped in a nylon bag, under some rocks.

The cache is packed with fun stuff so please keep it interesting for the cachers yet to come.
Enjoy
