Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache, availible for an easy grab all year long.

This stone wall was developed with a local historian and two artists, Peter Geisser and Mika Seeger, to depict the area’s history using mosaic tiles as the medium. Installed are five vignettes which will flow along the stone wall bordering Surfside condominiums, against a background of ocean, sky and seagulls. The vignettes will feature hallmarks of Narragansett history, including its rich farming and fishing heritage, as well as the grand Narragansett Pier Casino from the 1890s. Neutral tones and high-relief techniques compliment the natural ambiance. The cache is located in the wall. It should be reachable year-round even with snow cover & day or night. Please respect the condo owners and do not go into the private property areas.

The cache is very small and contains a log strip. We were able to place a few very small items in the container, however no pen or pencil fits in, so bring your own.
