Geocache Description:

The lighthouse in Sventoji has been in service since 1957, it is 39 meters high and situated roughly 700 meters inland.

The lighthouse was restored by an experienced team from Estonia back in 2000. Now it is equipped with six 1KW lamps one of which is in service at a time and five spares. The light is visible 30 kilometers into the sea. The blink sequence is three times 1.5 second light with 1.5 second dark followed by a 7.5 second pause. Visitors are not allowed unless you happen to somehow obtain a special permit. Don't try to jump over the fence, there are surveilance cameras around.

The cache is hidden between the lightghouse and a very nicely decorated wooden house. Initially the cache is loaded with some magnets and lithuanian coins for swag, there is also an FTF prize: an unactivated Lithuanian Flag Micro geocoin. First to find is supposed to take the GC and either keep it or activate and let it travel.

The coords provided are only approximate. As with all my hides I try to do as much sampling as possible, but seldom get a professional precision. Don't expect to find the cache exactly at the numbers your GPSr reads. Other than plainly logging "off coords" please add your version of correct coords, this will make your entry useful both for cache owner and other seekers. Appreciate your cooperation.
