These "Restin'" caches are a series of camouflaged bison-tubes
that will take you to historical and sometimes forgotten
cemeteries. Some of these date back to the mid 1800's and are the
final resting place of pioneers from this area.
Please pay the utmost respect when walking through these sites.
Taking a few moments to read the information that went onto the
stonework will ensure that these individuals will not be
forgotten.
This particular site can be accessed from a small pulll-out on
the south side of Whitevale Road. If you arrive when snow is absent
you will see a number of flags indicating the locations of
individal plots. I hope you will stay long enough to experience the
tranquility of this area.
While this burial site is located on public property please
exercise discretion when visiting it as there are markers hidden
beneath the overgrown vegetation.
Congratulations to
Barnie's Band of Gold for his perseverance in acquiring
FTF!
