A nice place to cool off on a hot summer day...
Our favorite summer river float from Blackberry campground ends here. When the weather in the valley is hot, temps are nicer here, and the river is most inviting. Bring plenty of snacks, sunscreen, and your favorite floating devices (inner tubes, canoes, kayaks, rafts, etc) for a very enjoyable time on the river. Check out the cool under water rock formations as you float downstream. There are over a half dozen little rapids along the way, nothing over class 1.5, with the last one (and perhaps the best) being right here! (Note: you don't have to float the river to seek the cache, but if you do, please include something memorable of your adventure in your log...)
