This cache was hidden by Mike+Mary & Michaela to celebrate Alex's 1st birthday. The parking co-ordinates are for Bettiscombe Village Hall.
Michaela and Chris were married in Bettiscombe Church. Alex is their son, born 19 August 2008.
In the churchyard, find the grave of Edward John Rowe who died in the year ABCD aged EF. The cache is at N50 4(B-D).(E-A)(C+D)(Cx2), W002 5(B-F).BFC.
You could do the cache either as a walk or as a quick cache & dash by car. When fine & dry, there is a pleasant bridleway to the cache site but be warned, it gets very muddy after wet weather and can be heavily overgrown in summer. However, you can drive to within 50m of the final location and pull into a gateway near the bridleway sign. The hiding place is easy though the field entrance can get mucky. The views on a clear day are well worth the stop!
