Since this is the only public boat launch on Conesus Lake, there is usually a long....line to launch your boat. So... as we waited, we couldn't believe there was not a cache hidden in the very nice park/picnic area next to the launch.
Why not look for a cache while you wait? You can be a cacher and a boat captain all in the same day! (both involve a GPS ! ! )
If you are not boating, you can also visit with the harbor master, watch boat captains launch their vessels, read the many warning signs -- hence the name "NO POWER LOADING" (What does that really mean? - Must be something nautical!!)
The only thing you need is a pen to log your visit because parking, restrooms, grills, picnic tables and most important lake atmosphere all available on site. If you are in a hurry, this should be a quick cache and dash, but we placed this cache for you to Enjoy !
