Vicpark #5: Park parking off park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

thebruce0: Alas, its time has come. A new home has been built around GZ, and as such this is no longer accessible. It is a sad time, as the container shall be lost, but it is a happy time, as this region will now be reopened for another hider to have a go. VP5 has lived a long and happy life, earning an assortment of both smiley faces and frowny faces. Fare thee well, PPoP!

Geocache Description:

Park it up, and enjoy the place. A great place to start the series! Timing is everything here as this is a busy muggle area.

11/4/09: cache is adjusted to be more winter friendly (and a tad harder to spot). It is no longer a film container, but is within meters of the posted coordinates. Reading the hint should drop the difficulty by a point or two.

Stealth required! And please place the container exactly as you found it.

Logbook only, please take your own writing utensil.

This cache belongs to my 'Vicpark' series of caches in and around Victoria Park.
This series is also a great collection to attempt if you're in town visiting the various events that occur in the park.
  • Given the nature of the high muggle traffic in the area, every cache should be approached with caution and stealth.
  • Please respect the park and its patrons.
  • CITO opportunities abound all around!
  • Take a walk around the park, enjoy the landscape and nature. There are numerous paths and trails around the perimeter and along the water's edges.
  • Pets, families, bikes, all welcome. During the summer the water park is open for children as well. There's drinking water and public restrooms available, and a lake-side muggle restaurant that shall not be named which rhymes with "coat mouse" often sells food and condiments from a side window.
  • Oh, and please don't feed the birds!
And because it's worth saying again: Every cache should be approached with caution and stealth, and please respect the park and its patrons.
