The World Wide Flash Mob Caching Event. WWFM VI. November 14, 2009
The Basic Idea...
A "Flash Mob" Gathering of Geocachers. Only 15 minutes long! You MUST be present to drop of your sheet of paper with geocaching name DURING this time to claim the event.
Please BYOPP! (Bring your own Pen and Paper)
The World Wide Flash Mob Event: Dozens of events all around the world, coordinated to happen at the same time to bring together geocachers and introduce others (newbies) to geocaching.
The event will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not one second longer.
The event will begin precisely at 02:00 pm on November 14, 2009. The event will be held at the bandstand (Gazebo) near 8th Hussars Sports Center. This is in an open public space with lots of parking nearby.
Basic Idea...

Participants: Mill about and mosey. Be nonchalant and casual. Look like a muggle. Don't look like a gathering waiting to happen. Mosey as realistically as you can. This is part of the fun. We will seem to appear out of no-where... Stay in your geocaching mobile if need be,

I will walk to ground zero... This is the signal that the event has begun!
***Please do not be in this area until this time.
Participants: Please have a paper with your geocaching name to place in a collection box.

Mingle.... Share stories.... Brag... Trade coins and travel bugs. Take pictures... submit names...Snacks will also be handed out... Make sure to CITO all garbage.

(There will be a COW BELL to be rung... First to do so at the beginning of the event gets FTF...Run!)

Prep to leave, but don't "look" like you are prepping. (You might want to "secretly" organize where you will re-form after dispersal.)

LEAVE the area (right at 02:15 in a disorderly manner / different directions) and meet elsewhere if desired. (Possibly to another event... Hint Hint)
Only those participants whose names appear on papers placed into collection box may log the event.
Tell your friends and help promote the event!
Hopefully there will be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did I just see? What just happened?" (That's part of the fun!)
