Geocache Description:

30 cal ammo can on LongLeaf Trace

Welcome to the Long Leaf Trace. This is a Rails For Trails project
that converted an old railroad track from Hattiesburg, MS to
Prentiss MS. It is 41 miles long, and has several caches along this route.

Trace Map

This cache is located near Jackson Station. Parking is available at the station. After that it is about 6/10s of a mile hike. It is 8/10s of a mile from the closest cache.

The trail is Equestrian friendly, and available to bicycles as
well as hikers. There are multiple "stations" which provide a place
to get water or drinks and a bathroom that is available to the
public. There are several camping places as well for those wishing
to hike part or all of the Trace.
