CAGE
Capital Area Geocachers Event
TIME: 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Time
changed due to park closing at DUSK which is 8:16pm on the day of
the event.
WHERE: Hawk Island Park in Lansing
We
didn't reserve a shelter for the first three events, and it seemed
to work out so we have decided to stick with the plan for this
event as well. The event coordinates are for the smallest of the
shelters in the park. If this one is not available when we arrive
we will stake claim to an open area in one of the other shelters as
we did for the first one in June, so please look for us at the
other two shelters. We will have some type of MiGO sign or banner
wherever we are able to get some
space.
The C.A.G.E. Team is planning on holding these events on the third
Tuesday of each month.
The
C.A.G.E. Team is currently made up of thevidas, Team Goldfinch,
Cruzcontrol82, The Allen Cachers, and SpyHikers. Other geocachers
or caching teams who would like to join The C.A.G.E. Team are
welcome! Just contact any of us.
As
with the first event in June, this month's event will just be a
simple meet and greet where we can all get together and hang out.
There is no need for anyone to bring anything with them, but if you
want to bring some food, either for yourselves or to share, please
feel free. We know it is supper time for some.
Please also feel free to bring TBs or coins to pass along or to be
discovered.
As
we get a few of these events under our belt and get a feel for what
Lansing area cachers are looking for in a monthly event, we will
try to adapt. All ideas are welcome.
We

minute attendees are always welcome

NOTE: There is only a fee to enter this park on weekends
and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. So, there should
not be any fee to enter the park for the event (which is on a
Tuesday).
