Geocache Description:

This cache is located nearby the village of Hamor, which is just west of the city of Miskolc in Hungary. It is adjacent to Szinva Creek, which you will need to cross to reach the geocache. The asphalt road connecting Hamor with Miskolc runs nearby.

The quaint village of Hamor is nestled in the picturesque rolling mountains of Bukk National Park. Many climbers come here to enjoy the challenge of scaling the sheer white rocks. There are paths everywhere through the forests and hills for hikers, with the reward of plenty of beautiful panaromas at the top, and it is literally just a few kilometers from the outskirts of the city of Miskolc.

Szinva Creek runs through a built concrete drainage ditch in the village. Just upstream of Hamor is a beautiful natural waterfall (adjacent to Palatoszalo, an historical hotel), and just downstream, the creek flows alongside the rock walls right next to the road, which is where this geocache is located. The area is dotted with cave formations in the rock wall, which you may find in your search. Fortunately, this cache is not deep inside a cave, but be aware that the proximity of the mountain face may make it hard to get accurate coordinates.

Park your car inside Hamor, off of the main road, close by the bus stop. Walk a short distance beside the Szinva Creek as it runs towards Miskolc, and you should be able to find it. It is not far from the Vadas Jeno memorial.

This cache is a 30-centimeter-tall cylindrical green glass bottle. Please return it exactly where you found it, and be wary of curious bystanders hiking along the road. Happy hunting!
