This cache is on the Gold Hill Trail #3. South of Sandpoint, ID, from Hwy 95 take Bottle Bay Rd for approx. 4.7 miles to Trailhead parking lot.
Moved the container a few feet NW from original spot to better match D/T.
This has been changed from a multi to a traditional cache. The cache is a white, between small and medium-size recycled plastic jar.
This is a great trail for views of Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille, Pend Oreille River and the Selkirk Mtns. There is about a 1000 ft. elevation gain in 3 miles so bring some water. I like this trail because it gives you that "on top of the world" feeling fast. It is also a good workout hike or bike through a quiet forest.
