This geocache is part of a series placed within the Cannon River valley. Some of these caches were meant to be accessed by boat (canoe, kayak, innertube, etc), some by bicycle, and some by hiking. Look at the ratings and attributes to determine which equipment you should be using.

While Miesville Ravine is some distance from the metropolitan area, it is really worth the drive as it is a hidden gem. You will experience things that are typical of river valleys including bluffs, ravines, water flowage, and everything in between. Getting to this cache takes you through one of the famous ravines.

You are searching for a standard sized container. Watch out for the stinging nettles and wild parsnip which are abundant in this park.

Even though there is little chance that someone will accidentially stumble upon this cache, you never know when someone might ramble through this area during one of the prescribed deer hunts. Please place the cache and its cover materials EXACTLY the way you found it or better.
