The Eagle Scout Service Project that a Scout needs to do is to
demonstrate the Scouts "Leadership", "Time Management" and "Project
Planning" skills as well as give Service back to the Community is
one of the final challenges he faces.
Cache is NOT at
published Coords. But they are hidden on this page, really
close.

I found myself on this trail this morning and thought this would
be the perfect place for this cache. I never knew this trail was
here and if it wasn't for "Eagle
Rock" cache, I never would of found it.
Congrats to Team Bullis for
your FTF adventure.
This process of the Service Project has proven hard for some and
easy for others. If during the Scouts "Trail to Eagle" journey he
has done all that he could to advcance himself in knowledge and
experience the challenges that face him in the future become an
easy challenge to tackle. But if he just does what is required of
him when a new challenge presents itself he is overwhelmed on how
to accomplish even parts of the challenge. Never mind finishing the
journey.
So for some of you who have taken on challenges and experienced new
and exciting tasks this challenge may seem easy, but for others it
may be very overwhelming. But if the main challenge is broken up
into smaller tasks then anything can be accomplished.
To complete this challenge you to must do the same.
Normally a Scout needs to have earned their LIFE rank
prior to starting thier "Service Project" but I wanted this
challenge to be open to all cachers not just the
"Geo-Scouts".
Have Fun and enjoy the challenge,,,,You earned it.
- PART ONE - SERVICE HOURS
-
- One of the main parts of an Eagle
Scout Service Project is the community service part. During an
average project about 200-300 working hours is given back to the
community. So this requirement is for you to do your part to give
back to the community and the use of the public land.
- Attend at least TWO (2) "CITO" Events.
- These CITO events can be from the date you have been caching.
So far in the series you were required to attend one CITO
(mandatory for STAR rank) (optional for 2nd Class if you found an
Earthcache) You just need at least two CITO's listed on your
profile page as attended.
- Geosnackers Event in Vermont does qualify for a CITO, confirmed
by NHZamboni
- PART TWO - LEADERSHIP / PLANNING
-
- As of 01-04-2012 I have updated ALL of
the NH Challenges (that qualify). Please see my bookmark
NH Challenges.
- From the ACTIVE Challenges listed in the bookmark, you need
to complete at least 33% of them.
- LOOPHOLE (we all need one)
-
- Archived NH Challenges were still challenges.
- IF you qualified and found an Archived NH Challenge PRIOR to
it's termination you may swap that one with a current active
challenge.
- IF an archived NH Challenge is basically the same as an active
NH challenge. You may only claim one towards this challenge.
- Here is a bookmark of
Archived NH Challenges
Please list in your log the cache name and the date you
attended the CITO or completed the challenge as well as what
challenges you ave completed and dates of completion.
As more challenges get published that qualify for this I will add
to the bookmark and date when I added them.
As long as you completed 33% of them prior to any additions you may
log this cache.

If for some reason a
challenge cache is Temporarily Disabled or Archived just work on
another.
