Long Island Hiking Trail Beachhead. Terrain rating is for hiking portion.
The cache begins a small series of a well hidden trail on long island. It was discovered by chance and turned out to be a real gem of a trail. I wish I had time to follow the whole thing through. Maybe another cacher can pick up where the Bean left off.
You can land 30 ft from this cache. The beach has a significant dropoff after 5 ft out you can 'run her ashore laddie'
This is not far off the beach - no bushwhacking required.
