Geocache Description:

Just off the road. No poison ivy or sumack. Should be a park and grab.

Was out caching for the day and drove down this road. As we were approaching location we saw this awesome spot. Take a look on both sides of the road. Talk about leaving in a hurry. Wish we could have gone and looked in the cabin but it was on private property. Cache is not on private property. It looked old and awesome. The other side we don't even know what was going on. Just a wierd place but awesome. There is a place to park. Road is not heavily traveled but may have a passerby. Just smile and wave. Happy hunting.

A recent email from treasurehuntess revealed this:

This is considered the oldest cabin in Steuben Country. The Renner family lived there with their seven children. As you walk in, there is a first level open area with an old ladder going up to a loft. To the right, which also has an outside door and windows, there is a side room, possible the parents bedroom or storage space. My grandfather grew up with these kids and new the family well. He is deceased.
