This Cache requires a boat and a few hours to get to and back to marina/launch.
This is our second cache and is located on a small island marked by an Inukshuk that the kids think looks like a dinosaour. Not too hard to find once there. Definately need to know your way around the bay by boat so as not to loose a propeller on rocks getting to the island (not too bad in immediate vicinity though). If not familiar with the water route into the area, recomend picking up a navigation map like the #2206 McGregor Bay/North Channel Chart from Canadian Hydrographic Service. Keep rock spotters on the look out. Pack a lunch and some water. Cell Phone service is pretty sketchy so tell someone where you're going. Thanks and Enjoy!
