[LAT] Templa kalns
Templa kalns senaka apdzivota vieta Aluksnes rajona, kura virsotne atrodas Slavas templis - granita rotonda (1807). Templa kalns atrodas Aluksnes ezera Dienvidrietumu krasta pussala. Tas ir sens latgalu pilskalns un senpilsetas vieta. 1807.gada ta virsotne Aluksnes barons Fitinghofs licis uzcelt granita rotondu - Slavas templi, par godu Ziemelu kara notikumiem Aluksne. Ta veltita krievu feldmaršala Šeremetjeva un zviedru armijas kapteina Vulfa pieminai.1937.gada pilsetas turisma un labiericibas komiteja uzsaka turisma objektu celtniecibu Templa kalna. Viens no tiem bija betona - koka gaisa tilts, kam pec izsludinata konkursa izvertešanas rezultatiem dots Saules tilta vards. 1995.gada veikta tilta restauracija. Daudzo nostastu vidu viens no popularakajiem vesta, ka Ziemelu kara laika Templa kalnu karotaji sanesuši ar cepurem, lai labak varetu apšaudit Aluksnes pili ezera sala. Zem Saules tilta ir solini un ugunskura vietas, ka ari kapnes, kas ved uz Saules tiltu.

[ENG] Temple Hill
The Temple Hill is situated on the south-western part of the Cemetery Peninsula. In 1807 a granite rotunda or temple of glory was built on the hill in honour of the faithful fighters of the Northern War - Swedish Captain Wolf and Russian Field-Marshal Sheremetiev. ?One of the most popular of the many legends tells that during the war the warriors had brought soil to the Temple Hill in their hats to have a better shooting range across the lake to the Aluksne Castle. ?To make the surroundings of the town more beautiful and attractive, the Tourism Committee started to build different objects in 1937. The Sun Bridge on the Temple Hill was built in 1938, restored in 1995.
