Toma su nombre del Cerro La Marquesa, la mayor elevación en
Guaynabo de 1670 pies de altura y que se encuentra al Sur del
Parque Forestal La Marquesa.
La Marquesa es un bosque húmedo tropical, cuya precipitación
pluvial anual es de 50 a 70 pulgadas y cuya temperatura promedio
anual es de 25°C (77°F)
La hidrología del parque se compone de tres cuencas: Quebrada
Limones, Quebrada Damiana y Quebrada Central.
Los suelos son de buen drenaje y pertenecen al grupo de la
humatas, múcaras y naranjito arcilloso, cuya fertilidad natural es
mediana.
La geología es de la formación Santa Olaya Lava (Ks), del
Periodo Cretácico del origen volcánico y presenta formaciones
diorita de cuarzo del periodo Terciario.
El parque está abierto de Miércoles a Domingo, de 9:00 am
a 5:00pm.

Las coordenadas te llevarán a la 1era etapa. De ahí obtendrás lo
necesario para proseguir la búsqueda.
NO hay que pisar o perturbar la vegetación para buscar el cache
y/o etapas.
Pido encarecidamente que NO pongan fotos de los caches
(ya sean stages o final), eso le destruye el "misterio" de la
búsqueda a los próximos geocachers. Parte de la sorpresa y
maravillas que muestra este cache se afectarían con eso.

The park takes its name from Cerro La Marquesa, the highest
elevation in Guaynabo at 1,670 feet, which is located south of La
Marquesa Forest Park.
La Marquesa is a tropical rainforest, whose annual rainfall is
50 to 70 inches and whose average annual temperature is 25 °C(77
°F)
The hydrology of the park consists of three basins: Quebrada
Limones, Quebrada Damiana and Quebrada Central.
The soils are well drained and belong to the humatas, naranjito
clay and múcaras, which have medium natural fertility.
The geology is of Santa Olaya Lava (Ks) formation from the
Cretaceous Period and has volcanic formations of quartz diorite of
the Tertiary period.
The park is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 9:00 to
5:00 pm.

the necessary information to continue the search.
No bushwaking or trampling of vegetation is needed to look for
the cache and/or stages.
I kindly request that NO photos of the caches (stages
and/or final) be uploaded to the logs, the "mystery" of the search
is destroyed for other geocachers. Part of the surprises and
wonders this cache shows will be affected by that. Thank you.
