Another cache that compliments my Blue Sky - Roderick Hague-Brown Provincial Park cache. Park at N50 54.041 W119 34.143, view the many displays available and acquaint yourself with the park prior to your hunt. Brochures are available at the Information Centre. The main coordinates will take you to close to the cache (GPS signals a little shaky). The cache container is suitable for small trade items (I did not place any) and BYOP.
Read my notes on the Blue Sky cache information sheet for a description of the park. This cache, like the other ones I have hidden in this series, will be found very close to the trail. Cross country travel is not required or encouraged. The trail system is accessed from the main parking lot and all caches are located in an area south to east of the parking lot. Travel clockwise or counter clockwise, staying on the main trails and you will not only learn lots, you will have an enjoyable trek through a magnificent forest of large cottonwoods, big cedars, majestic firs, tall birch and a variety of other great trees and bushes.
For part of your walk you will have an opportunity to view the mighty Adams River and some of it's pools and offshoots where the famous Adams River Sockeye Salmon come to spawn. In season (early October) you will see this remarkable feat of nature unfold before your eyes. Come and enjoy this great park.
