A Family Friendly Cache in Burr Oak Woods

You are looking for a ammo box about 60 feet off of the path. I did find plenty of Poison Ivy right around the cache, so watch what you touch.

As you make your way through the restored prairie you will see what 30% of Missouri once looked like. You will find native warm season grasses such as Big Bluestem and Indian Grass. The prairie also contains wildflowers such as Blazing Star, Blackeyed Susan, Rattlesnake Master and Native Sunflowers

The Area is open to vehicles from 8am to 8pm during Daylight Savings Time and from 8am to 5pm Central Standard Time. If you like you may park at the front gate and walk-in from Sunrise until 10pm

Pets are not allowed in Burr Oak Woods. Bicycles are only allowed on roads open to vehicles
