Geocache Description:

New cache size turtle cache will hold small swaps & TBs

One of those places you probably wouldn't go to without the lure of a geocache being there. The bridge crosses over Foudry Brook, but vehicles can go no further as it leads to a gated property. Roadside parking is available on the approach to the bridge.

The cache contains a logbook with some room for swaps, so please bring your own writing implement. In the words of an infamous cacher "Caching without a pen/pencil is like going fishing without a rod". Please take care to reassemble the cache and replace as found. Thank you.

Foundry Brook is a small stream which rises near the Hampshire village of Baughurst and is named as Beaumonts Stream or Beaumonts Brook. After flowing eastwards through Tadley and Pamber Forest, it turns northward and becomes Silchester Brook. Once in Berkshire it adopts its final name of Foudry Brook before flowing through Mortimer and onward into Reading. In Reading the stream passes through Green Park, where it provides the water for the landscaped lakes, before entering the River Kennet as its easternmost main tributary.
